This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to the well-being of diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and transfer methods Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Support patient safety through proper manual handling practices and adherence to safe lifting techniques Document patient information thoroughly using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery Requirements Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized by the state Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use patient transfer methods effectively including Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent caregiver communication and teamwork in fast-paced environment Join us in delivering exceptional patient service through compassionate caregiving!
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
