What You'll Do As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient support and assist the nursing team with daily patient care activities.
Responsibilities include:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding Take and record vital signs accurately Assist with patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning Provide comfort measures and support to patients and families Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members Qualifications Required Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Previous healthcare experience, though not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences Why Choose Deaconess?
