Transport Driver CNA - Moline, Illinois At Allure of the Quad Cities, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents, and we're seeking a dedicated and caring Transportation Driver CNA to join our team!
SUMMARY:
As a Transportation Driver CNA, you will be responsible for providing safe and secure transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and private residences while maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring the safety of residents at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Hours 9am-5:30pm Provide a high level of customer service while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings Assist residents with boarding and leaving the bus, securing wheelchairs and walkers, and loading and unloading luggage and packages Monitor resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle, and at the entrance and exit of buildings Conduct daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness Complete daily vehicle report logs and maintain accurate activity logs Follow all safety procedures and protocol as dictated by local policy, federal and state regulations, and standard practice Report all hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately Maintain accurate records and reports
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a CNA license High school diploma or equivalent preferred Active Illinois Driver's License required Class C license with a passenger endorsement or Class E license for vehicles transporting 14 or fewer passengers DOT compliant physical and annual physician's statement for drivers between the ages of 71 and 74 Experience as a bus or van driver preferred Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 275 pounds, and move intermittently throughout the workday
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 275 pounds, and move such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasional exposure to emotionally upset residents or family members If you're a caring and reliable individual with a passion for providing exceptional care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity!
