Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and attention to detail Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or basic medication administration under supervision Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless service delivery Use proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe patient transfers and prevent injuries Engage with patients experiencing cognitive impairments like dementia or Alzheimer's disease using specialized memory care techniques to foster comfort and safety Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clarity and compassionate service Experience working in fast-paced environments Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required; additional certifications like phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks essential for supporting patient mobility and safety Join us in delivering exceptional care that makes a real difference!
