In this energetic role, you will support nurses and healthcare professionals by delivering essential daily care to residents in nursing homes, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your caregiving skills are valued and your professional growth is supported. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using safe handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling practices Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track patient health status accurately Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate methods like patient transfer techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care when applicable Experience Long-term care facility experience or nursing home background provides valuable skills in geriatric and dementia care Knowledge of Point Click Care EMR system. Paid CPR is offered. $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
