Job Description
We are hiring for a (PRN) CNA! Starting base pay for this position is $15.25/hour with an additional $0.25 added per year of qualifying experience (with a cap of 15 years.) 2nd shift differential is an additional $4.00/hour, weekend differentials are an additional $1.50/hour and we offer double-time pay on holidays worked. Caring for our seniors in their golden years is an honor and privilege here at Christian Care Retirement Community. We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide compassionate, quality care to our residents.. The ideal candidate will act as a helping hand for our residents, assisting them with their day-to-day needs from morning until night. This includes tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toileting, and incontinence care - all when needed. The CNA will help serve nutritious meals, escort residents to activities and appointments, and monitor their overall health and wellbeing. Excellent communication skills are a must, as the CNA will need to listen attentively to residents' concerns, respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance, and update charts and caregiver logs. This role requires someone who can prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and remain calm in emergencies. Most importantly, we seek someone with a caring heart who will treat our residents with dignity and respect. The CNA will be the hands, feet and smiling face our residents see each day, so compassion and patience are essential.
