Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and adherence to protocol. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, utilizing techniques like memory care strategies and aseptic techniques Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during patient transfers and manual handling tasks Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control procedures and proper use of EMR/EHR systems for documentation. Requirements Valid CNA certification from an accredited program in good standing. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus Compassionate caregiving skills with experience supporting patients with complex needs.
