Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic adult daycare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in adult day services. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive experience for patients and their families. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as toileting and mobility to promote comfort and independence Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, facility cleaning, and sanitizing. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation Help with patient transfer methods using equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe handling practices Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while managing medical documentation and records Observe and report changes in patient conditions promptly to nursing staff or upper managemen. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or other physical disabilities. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe patient care Familiarity with accurate documentation Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) and CPR confidently in emergency situations Skilled in manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer devices Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient service through compassionate caregiving.
