Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and supporting medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Experience with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities, is highly valued. The CNA will play a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and healing environment while adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards. We currently hiring for our evening shift (2p-10p) and night shift (10p-6a). Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and wound management to prevent infection. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Document patient information thoroughly in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Assist in patient transfers and positioning to promote comfort and safety. Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience in various healthcare environments including: Long-term care facilities such as assisted living or nursing homes. Hospital medicine departments with experience in medical-surgical units or specialty areas like cardiology or pediatrics. Home & community-based care settings providing services for individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs. Preferred skills include proficiency with medical terminology and documentation standards, and experience working with diverse populations including seniors. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required along with knowledge of infection control practices like aseptic technique. Prior exposure to hospice care, post-acute care environments, or working within teaching hospitals is advantageous. $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
