Skilled Nursing Facility Location:
Winamac, IN Schedule:
Minimum 24 hours/week | Up to 40 hours/week
Shift:
Mix of Day Shift & Evening Shift Weekends:
Every other weekend required
Contract Length:
6-13 weeks (with potential for extension)
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview Staffing Strategies is seeking a dependable and experienced Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join a respected skilled nursing facility in Winamac, Indiana on a contract basis. This position offers a flexible schedule consisting of a combination of day and evening shifts , with guaranteed hours ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week , depending on your availability and the facility's needs. This role is focused exclusively on QMA responsibilities and does not include CNA duties. Responsibilities Administer medications in accordance with Indiana QMA scope of practice. Observe residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions. Accurately document medication administration and resident responses. Report changes in resident condition to the licensed nursing staff. Follow physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Promote resident safety while providing compassionate, high-quality care. Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications Active Indiana Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) certification required. Current CNA certification preferred if applicable. Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred. Excellent attention to detail and medication administration accuracy. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and willingness to work a combination of day and evening shifts, including every other weekend. Compensation & Benefits $23.00-$26.00 per hour , based on experience. Weekly pay. Flexible schedule with 24-40 hours per week .
