If so, NMC Health invites you to join our award-winning, nurse-driven healthcare team in the Wichita Metro Area. We are currently seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Full-time to join our Senior Behavioral Health Center (SBHC) in Newton, KS. The certified Nurse Assistant works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well-being of the patient and the family. Other functions/competencies of the position may include unit clerk, monitor technician, general clerical activities, activities of daily living and basic nurse procedures. Performs duties and presents in a manner that would lead to high levels of patient satisfaction. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team. This position reports to the Unit Leader. This position is hourly (non-exempt). 2 F/T positions (1 Days & 1 Nights)
Qualifications:

Education:
A High School diploma or equivalent required Successful completion of a nurse assistant certification preferred. If high school diploma or equivalent is still in progress, successful completion of nurse assistant certification or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
Preferred inpatient therapy or geriatric experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Participates in routine activities of patient care for the specific unit/department population; Performs delegated care tasks in timely, efficient manner, and under the guidance of the RN/LPN. Contributes to continuity of care and effective communication by reporting care provided and changes in the patient's condition to the primary nurse or designee in a timely fashion;
Licensure/registration/certification:
