Job Description

RESTORATIVE AIDE
Riverstone Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and compassionate Restorative Aide to support residents in maintaining or improving their highest level of physical functioning, mobility, and independence. Schedule 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carry out restorative nursing programs according to each resident's care plan. Assist residents with walking, transfers, positioning, range-of-motion exercises, dining, and other restorative activities. Encourage residents to participate and reach their highest practical level of independence. Use proper transfer techniques and assigned mobility equipment. Observe residents for changes in condition, ability, pain, or tolerance and promptly report concerns to the licensed nurse. Accurately document restorative services and resident participation. Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and confidentiality. Follow infection-control practices, facility policies, and safety procedures. Attend required education and complete restorative training as needed. Perform other resident-care duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Willing and able to complete restorative training as needed. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Ability to follow care plans and instructions from licensed nursing and therapy staff. Dependable, patient, compassionate, and committed to quality resident care. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, repositioning, and assisting residents. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, restorative nursing, or a related healthcare setting. Prior experience assisting residents with mobility, transfers, range-of-motion exercises, or activities of daily living. Riverstone Post-Acute is an equal opportunity employer.
