Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Surgical Certified Nursing Assistant who resembles our high standard of care for our patients. Our ideal candidate would be friendly, polished and professional. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, medical history, and skin examinations to determine treatment needs. Assist dermatologists with procedures such Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Excisions, and suturing. Administer medications and injections following strict aseptic techniques while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately for documentation of treatments, procedures, and patient progress. Educate patients on post-treatment care, skin health maintenance, and medication instructions to promote optimal outcomes. Monitor patients during procedures for signs of adverse reactions or complications and respond promptly. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and sterilization standards. Requirements Proven experience working as a registered nurse in dermatology or related outpatient clinical settings. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as EzDerm Knowledge of dermatological procedures including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Excision and suturing Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy related to skin conditions, and physiology knowledge relevant to dermatology. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and assess patient needs effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of infection control. Additional experience in areas such as medical office management, triage, IV infusion, or pain management is highly desirable. Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
