We are looking for an LPN who is compassionate about teaching others a curriculum where their knowledge and expertise will be applied. Requirements include LPN license, 2 years nursing in Long Term Care, and either VTTIE, CTTIE or Train the Trainer certified. The class runs 2 weeks. 1 week of 40 hours for classroom curriculum and 1 week of 40 hours for clinicals. The 3rd week will be for interviewing and preparing for next class. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students. In-depth knowledge of nursing assistant duties and responsibilities. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching platforms. Current Louisiana LPN license.
