Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant's to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist residents in daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care daily to every resident. Evening Shifts available! Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Provide support to residents with mobility challenges and help them move safely within the facility. Assist nursing staff and ensure resident comfort during treatments. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols. Document resident care activities accurately in electronic health records. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility team members regarding resident needs and concerns. Support residents with disabilities by providing tailored care that meets their individual needs. Day shift is 6a-2p and the evening shift is 2p-10p. Shift Differential Pay for evening and night shift. Requirements Louisiana Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training required. A CNA is expected to be a dependable member of the nursing team, a fast learner, a self starter, and able to work well with others. Experience in geriatrics or long term care preferred; familiarity with inpatient settings is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment such as skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Strong interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with residents and families. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies in resident care. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
