Role:
ComForCare Home Care - Slidell is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Mandeville, LA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by delivering personalized, one-on-one care right in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and independence Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervising nursing staff Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean, safe home environment Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all home health care protocols
Requirements:
Active and valid CNA certification in the state of Louisiana Prior experience in home health, long-term care, or a clinical setting preferred Strong understanding of personal care, infection control, and patient safety practices Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Slidell, LA area Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Compensation:
