Role Summary:

This position supports patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with routine tasks, documentation, and organizational duties within a nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring proper documentation and room setup. Transport stable patients safely while maintaining confidentiality and security. Maintain supplies, equipment, and unit organization, including restocking and equipment management. Support a safe and comfortable environment by replenishing patient needs and responding to emergencies. Perform unit-specific patient care tasks aligned with skill levels and document care activities accurately. Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and adapt care methods to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with team members, respond to calls, and handle patient interactions professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Patient care experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Current CNA license and BLS certification required.
