Job Description

Category CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant Job Type Contract Deliver compassionate care while supporting a kindergarten student with significant medical needs in a dynamic school environment. This full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference during a short-term assignment aligned with the school schedule.
Schedule:
Full-time hours: 32.5 hours per week Coverage from September through mid-November, with the possibility to extend through the full academic year
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) Previous experience supporting children or individuals with high-level medical needs is highly valued Comfort working with young learners in a school setting Ability to provide attentive, empathetic, and detail-oriented care Excellent communication skills to support collaboration with educators, medical professionals, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver dedicated 1:1 care for a kindergarten student using a wheelchair Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and ongoing medical support as required Monitor the student's status and communicate any changes to the school nurse and healthcare team Ensure the student's safety and well-being throughout the school day Foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment
