The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and individuals requiring memory or dementia care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives by delivering personalized, respectful, and comprehensive care. The position is paid and open to both experienced professionals and those seeking entry-level opportunities with proper training. This is a FT 3pm-11pm position, also hiring per diem Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support patients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations. (SAMM) Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments through tailored activities and supervision. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheter care devices, and other assistive devices safely and effectively. Document resident information meticulously . Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for residents. Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate resident care plans and communicate any changes or concerns promptly. Support hospice or palliative care needs by providing compassionate comfort measures aligned with patient wishes. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people who have developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to caregiving roles and familiarity with medical records management. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or catheter care are advantageous. Long-term care experience combined with caregiving skills in home & community settings will be considered an asset. Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
