Make a real difference in a students daily experience as an Educational Aide supporting a K-12 student in Wilmington, MA. In this contract role, you'll work one-on-one with a student who uses a wheelchair, providing both academic and personal support throughout the school day. Your compassion and expertise will help create an inclusive learning environment and ensure the students safety and engagement.

Key Qualifications:

Active CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, Educational Aide, or CNA in a school setting preferred Experience supporting individuals with physical challenges; comfortable working 1:1 with students in wheelchairs Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Ability to assist with physical transfers, personal care, and mobility needs as required Passionate about supporting students' success and well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide individualized, hands-on care to support the students educational and personal needs Assist in adapting classroom activities and curriculum for accessibility Help with mobility, transfers, toileting, and daily living activities as needed Monitor the students health and safety throughout the day Work closely with teachers, therapists, and staff to reinforce instructional goals and behavioral supports Communicate regularly with the educational team and family about student progress This full-time opportunity offers 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during school hours.
