CNA or HHA Job Summary:

Neighborgood Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA or HHA to join our team of caring professionals in Marblehead, Massachusetts. As a valued member of our staff, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being in the comfort of their own homes or in our assisted living facilities. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist clients with medication management and other medical needs as necessary Prepare meals and snacks, and encourage healthy eating habits Engage clients in activities and outings, promoting socialization and mental stimulation Maintain accurate records of client care and progress Collaborate with other care team members to develop and implement personalized care plans Advocate for clients' rights and interests, ensuring their voices are heard and respected

Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks that require physical exertion with assistance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Must have experience with

Foley Catheters, Transfers and Personal Care Pay:

$22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

Part-time, overnight shifts available.
