Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, with experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing essential personal care, health monitoring, and emotional support within their homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation as needed. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques. Utilize patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively during patient movement. Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice or end-of-life care. Knowledge of medical terminology, home healthcare regulations, and safety protocols including first aid and basic life support (CPR). Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with patient transfer methods safely. Experience working within home health agencies or in live-in employment settings is advantageous. Compassionate caregiving skills combined with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple client needs efficiently. $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
