Job Description

Make a difference supporting students in a vibrant educational environment with a full-time opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This role involves providing short-term coverage, with the possibility of extension, working closely with a kindergarten student who uses a wheelchair and has significant medical needs.
Schedule:
Full-time, 32.5 hours per week Expected duration: September through November (potential to extend through full school year)
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) Experience supporting children or students with complex medical needs strongly preferred Comfortable providing one-on-one care, including mobility and health support for non-ambulatory students Ability to collaborate and communicate professionally with educators, school staff, and families Compassionate, patient, and responsive under varying circumstances CPR and First Aid certification required
Responsibilities:
Deliver dedicated, hands-on care for an individual kindergarten student with a high degree of medical need Assist with personal care routines, including hygiene, mobility, feeding, and toileting as necessary Support the student in a classroom setting to ensure inclusion and participation throughout the school day Administer prescribed healthcare interventions as directed Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate any health changes to appropriate staff Foster a supportive, safe environment tailored to the students needs
