Job Description

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in our vibrant senior living community. In this on-site role, you'll provide hands-on assistance with daily living, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and meals, while closely monitoring residents' well-being. You'll collaborate with nurses and teammates, follow care plans, and maintain accurate documentation. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with residents' daily living activities including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff Support safe mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices for residents Assist with meals, hydration, and basic nutritional needs while honoring resident preferences Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in accordance with facility standards Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times Engage residents in conversation and activities that promote dignity and social connection Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver individualized care plans Respond promptly and compassionately to resident requests and call bells Participate in required training, in-services, and quality improvement initiatives Required Skills Personal care assistance Vital signs monitoring Infection control Electronic health record documentation Safe patient transfers and mobility support Observation and reporting of condition changes Basic dementia and memory care techniques HIPAA and resident privacy practices Team collaboration in clinical setting Basic CPR and first aid knowledge
