Job Description

Currently Hiring in home CNA's/ HHA, to work immediate positions in Prince Georges and Charles County Maryland. Open Positions In Ft. Washington MD As a
CNA/ HHA
you will be instrumental in allowing individual to remain independent in their homes. The starting pay rate is $18.00-$19 an hour , you'll provide essential in-home support, Including assistance with daily living activities, medication reminders, light housekeeping. To be considered for this position, you must have a reliable car, a compassionate and patient demeanor, and excellent communication skills. Previous experiences are preferred, but not required. An interested candidate must be available to start immediately and provide up to date documents. Candidate must get CPR, PPD, background check and Physical if you haven't had one done within a year: Responsibilities Monitor and record vital signs accurately using EMR/EHR systems and ensure proper documentation of patient care activities. Support medication administration under supervision, adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques. Provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs. Assist with complex medical procedures including catheter care, and wound care in accordance with established protocols. Ensure infection control practices are maintained at all times to promote safety within the healthcare environment. Support patient education and provide compassionate caregiving tailored to individual needs across geriatric populations. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient service and vital signs. Requirements Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or HHA Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities and provide dementia or Alzheimer's care when needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality. Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and perform caregiving duties safely and effectively.
