Job Description

Larods Medical Services Inc. is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Security Attendant Nursing (SAN) assignments at a Maryland Department of Health behavioral-health facility in Jessup, Maryland . This is a direct patient-care and safety-support position , not a traditional security-guard position. The CNA/SAN works alongside nursing and clinical staff to provide patient observation, basic care, safety monitoring and behavioral-health support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide CNA-level direct patient-care assistance as assigned. Observe and supervise patients to help maintain a safe environment. Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living. Monitor and promptly report changes in patient behavior or condition to nursing staff. Assist nursing staff with patient safety and therapeutic-care activities. Follow behavioral-health and facility safety procedures. Use appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques according to facility training. Follow infection-control, HIPAA and confidentiality requirements. Complete required documentation and report incidents promptly. Complete all required facility orientation and training before assignment.
Ideal Candidate:
An experienced CNA or patient-care professional who is comfortable working with individuals in a psychiatric/behavioral-health environment and can maintain professionalism, safety and compassion in a structured healthcare setting.

Psychiatric Healthcare Facility Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant patient-care experience
Preferred Experience:
Psychiatric, behavioral health, forensic, hospital or institutional healthcare
Schedule:
Day, evening, night, weekend & holiday shifts may be available
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
