Job Requirements Join the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center and become part of a collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Full-Time Night Shift Patient Care Technician I (CNA) to join our 3 South Telemetry Unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with Registered Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, and Nurse Leadership to provide hands-on patient care and support daily unit operations. The 3 South team cares for telemetry and medical-surgical patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and coordinated multidisciplinary care.

Schedule:

3x12-Hour Night Shifts | 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. | Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays Required | CNA License Required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Assist nursing staff with direct patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily living activities. Collaborate with nurses, clinical coordinators, and nurse managers to implement patient care plans and ensure continuity of care. Accurately document patient information and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate nursing personnel. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Support clinical coordinators in coordinating patient care activities and managing workflow within the unit. Participate in training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Perform other duties as assigned.

LICENSURE & EXPERIENCE

Valid license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON), required. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital or comparable clinical setting, required. Full-time availability, including every other weekend and rotating holidays required.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range:

$17.68 - $24.76 per hour. Shift, Weekend, and Holiday Differential Pay Where Applicable. Comprehensive Benefits Package for Full Time, Part Time, and PRN Staff Members.
