Duties Deliver personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support while maintaining dignity and respect. Administer prescribed medications accurately following established protocols, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report any abnormalities promptly. Implementing individual care plans based on the needs of each resident. Document all medical and personal care activities precisely including( progress, behavior changes and any incidents or changes in health status) using the tools provided. ; maintain confidentiality of medical records. Support residents with activities of daily living in a safe manner involving manual handling techniques and heavy lifting when necessary. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and ensure resident comfort and safety. Prior assisted living or senior care facility experience is highly preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care is a plus. Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (CPR) or first aid certification required. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling protocols; understanding of HIPAA regulations for maintaining patient confidentiality. Valid certification from the State Board of Nursing or relevant licensing body as a CNA and Medication Technician required; ongoing compliance with state healthcare regulations essential.
