As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, GNA you will be responsible for providing exceptional As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities of Geriatric Nursing Assistant, GNA:

Assisting with daily living activities: Help residents with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Monitoring and documenting vital signs:

Regularly measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.

Providing mobility assistance:

Assist residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to maintain their comfort and prevent complications like bedsores.

Responding to resident needs:

Promptly address resident requests, provide emotional support, and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.

Supporting mealtime activities:

Assist residents during meals, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration according to their individual dietary needs. Maintaining a clean and safe environment : Help keep residents' living spaces clean and organized, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all. Benefits Offered by

Schedule:

7am-7pm 7pm - 7am Weekend Rotations 36/48

Length:

13 Week Contract (With Multiple Extensions Possible) Requirements for

Geriatric Nursing Assistant, GNA Position:

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification, GNA license in Maryland Minimum of 1-2+ years of recent experience long term care setting.
