Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff. Provide memory care support for patients with cognitive impairments. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Assist with mobility and transfers of patients using proper techniques. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support hospice care initiatives by providing compassionate end-of-life care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Engage in social work activities to promote emotional well-being among patients. Skills Strong knowledge of CPR and First Aid techniques. Experience or training in memory care practices. Proficiency in patient monitoring and documentation processes. Familiarity with nursing home environments and regulations. Understanding of HIPAA compliance for patient privacy protection.
