Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, implementing memory care techniques to promote resident safety and comfort. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, and wound management in accordance with healthcare protocols. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Requirements Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent qualification required; prior experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, vital signs monitoring, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care. Experience with advanced care environments including ICU, trauma centers (Level I or II), or post-acute settings is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as hospitals, urgent care clinics, or outpatient facilities.
