Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately. Medication reminders. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or memory care needs, utilizing techniques such as aseptic procedures and behavioral health strategies. Maintain infection control standards through proper use of PPE and aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or phlebotomy. Support patients with complex needs including those requiring respiratory support or post-operative care in surgical or outpatient settings. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Experience working with populations requiring specialized care—such as geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities—is highly valued. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge, and basic life support certification are essential.
