Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates (CNA) Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans set by healthcare professionals (CMT) Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through light housekeeping duties such as cleaning rooms, laundry, and sanitation tasks Observe and document changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to inform care teams promptly Follow safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies Collaborate with healthcare teams on developing and implementing personalized care plans for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Qualifications Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Certification in CPR and First Aid Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate attitude toward diverse populations Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in home health or hospice care environments Join us in making a positive impact every day!
