We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for a temporary 1:1 care assignment supporting a 37-year-old male client in Towson, MD. In this role, you will provide comprehensive personal care and community support while encouraging the client's independence as much as possible. The client is partially blind with a gait impairment, retracted arms, and requires hands-on support with specific daily activities.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM OR Sat & Sun, 7am-3pm

Duration:

Temporary Assignment (Now through October 1, 2026)

Qualifications:

Active CNA and CMT certifications in the state of Maryland. Proven experience in 1:1 care, caregiving, or direct support roles. Clean driving record, valid driver's license for community outings, personal vehicle and auto insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care & ADLs:

Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, toileting (including pulling down clothing and post-bowel movement hygiene), and meal preparation.

Medication Administration:

Administer medications as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) following all safety guidelines.

Independent Support:

Assist the client with table setup so he can feed himself independently.

Community Integration:

Utilize Community Development Services (CDS) hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shift) to transport and accompany the client into the community, assisting him with daily activities and engagement.

Mobility Support:

Supervise and assist with safe navigation and walking, keeping his visual impairment and gait challenges in mind. Apply Today!
