Company Overview Balsam House, Inc. is a 16 bed assisted living. We offer a serene residential care environment that emphasizes a non-facility style of living set amidst natural surroundings. Residents enjoy private rooms with private bathrooms and decks, complemented by 24-hour care, medication assistance, daily living support, nutritious meals, laundry, and housekeeping services. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and consistent Every Other Weekend CRMA to provide high-quality personal care and medication administration to our residents. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in elder care who are committed to enhancing the well-being of residents in a warm, home-like setting. The CRMA will work primarily on weekends and help cover weekends when others request time off. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and documentation requirements. Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing etc. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide emotional reassurance. Follow established protocols for emergency situations, including first aid and CPR when necessary. Collaborate effectively with staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and dementia or Alzheimer's care practices. Ability to operate Hoyer and stand to lift machinery. Certification in first aid, CPR, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and senior living facility standards. Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and resident engagement; compassionate caregiving approach essential. We offer a $2 weekend differential from your base pay

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
