3 Days per Week About the Practice We are an Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology practice for all ages that provides compassionate and comprehensive care for patients with asthma, allergies, immunologic disorders and related conditions. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team. Position Overview The Registered Nurse will work closely with the doctor and other members of our healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized experience in allergy, asthma, and immunology. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer injectable medications and allergy shots according to established protocols and provider orders
  • Assist with allergy testing, pulmonary function testing, penicillin testing, food challenges, and other in-office diagnostic procedures as applicable
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients
  • Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, medications, and relevant clinical information
  • Assist doctor with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Educate patients and families
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate intervention when needed
  • Coordinate patient care, referrals, prescriptions, laboratory testing, and follow-up appointments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate paper charts and utilize electronic prescribing
  • Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the state of Michigan
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Previous outpatient, allergy, asthma, immunology, pulmonology, or specialty practice experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Experience with electronic prescribing of medications preferred What We Offer

Pay:

$15.00

  • $30.
