Job DescriptionWe're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse Assistant to join our healthcare team in Detroit, United States. In this vital role, you'll work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to provide essential patient care support in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Nurse Assistant, you'll be instrumental in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity while contributing to a collaborative care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Provide direct patient care assistance under the direction of the responsible Registered Nurse, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility support, and comfort measuresAssist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining a welcoming and supportive demeanorMaintain clean, safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environments in accordance with organizational standards and infection control protocolsRespond promptly to patient calls and requests, demonstrating patience and empathy in all patient interactionsCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clarity and transparency in all exchangesRecognize and respond immediately to emergencies, alarms, and urgent situations, alerting appropriate personnel without delayAssist the nursing team in planning and implementing patient care while providing valuable input based on direct patient observationsDocument patient care activities accurately and thoroughly to support continuity of careMaintain strict confidentiality of all patient information and unit data in compliance with HIPAA regulationsPerform general clerical duties and supply deliveries to patient rooms and ancillary departments as assignedDemonstrate sensitivity to patients' comfort, privacy, and individual needs while remaining engaged and attentiveIdentify and communicate concerns related to patients, staff, or safety to the responsible Registered NurseParticipate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledgeUphold organizational standards of excellence in all professional interactions and responsibilitiesQualifications

Required Qualifications:

•High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentCompletion of a Nurse Assistant program (titles may include Patient Care Technician (PCT), Patient Assistant Technician (PAT), or similar programs)ORCurrent enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing courseORMedical Assistant program completion with or without prior experienceORMinimum one (1) year of previous experience in a Nurse Assistant, PCT, PAT, or similar patient care roleORForeign-trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the United States and does not currently hold a U.S. state RN licenseBLS Heart Saver Certification (to be completed during orientation if not already held)Physical ability to lift, move, and transfer patients, supplies, and equipment safelyAbility to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with exposure to communicable diseases and acute patient conditions

Preferred Qualifications:
