Full-time | Hourly Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team in Fairview. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Oscoda County. Responsibilities Provide direct resident care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, colostomy care, ambulation, transferring, and range-of-motion support. Follow individualized care plans, reporting observations and changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Ensure residents' dignity, privacy, and comfort are prioritized in all aspects of care. Support residents' rights, reporting any concerns of abuse, neglect, or restraint use immediately. Protect residents' personal belongings and assist in locating lost items. Promote skin integrity by preventing pressure ulcers, turning and repositioning residents, and applying skin care as directed. Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident needs. Assist with vital signs, weight checks, specimen collection, and application of creams/ointments. Accurately complete CNA documentation according to policy. Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper hand hygiene, glove use, and disposal of soiled materials. Welcome and orient new residents and families to the facility. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current Certified Nursing Assistant license in the State of Michigan required. Minimum of 6 months CNA experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to compassionate care.

Every other weekend rotation required
Pay Rate:
$20.40
