Full-Time (36 Hours/Week), Every other weekend and holiday rotationShift:

About Our Unit:
Our 38-bed unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care with a strong focus on rehabilitation and recovery after significant illness, injury, or surgery. While we primarily serve a geriatric population, we also care for patients as young as 14, with no upper age limit. Our patients face a variety of medical conditions, including stroke (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), hip fractures, craniotomy, cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS), and amputations.What You'll Do:
Your day-to-day impact includes: Performing routine tasks such as measuring and recording vital signs, collecting and labeling specimens including blood draws, and performing venipuncture and chemsticks. Assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed by the RN. Providing compassionate, hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and comfort. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support seamless care delivery. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.Education/Experience Required:
To qualify, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following: Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (titles may vary: Patient Care Technician (PCT), Patient Assistant Technician (PAT)). Enrollment in a nursing program with completed Fundamentals of Nursing. Foreign trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the United States and does not hold a Michigan RN license Medical Assistant program (with or without experience). At least one (1) year of experience in a Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Tech, or Patient Assistant Tech, or similar job role. Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferredCertifications/Licensures Required:
Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Physical ability to lift and move patients, supplies, and equipment. Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of patients, supplies, and equipment. Works in patient care area environments, which may include exposure to communicable diseases, unpleasant odors, acute patient conditions, potential exposure to infection, and hazardous gases.Additional Information Organization:
