What your ideal weekly schedule looks like. Which areas you're comfortable traveling to. What you wish you had more time to do for the people you currently care for. What If Only One Person Needed You Right Now? You're helping someone get dressed. A call light goes off. Someone else needs the bathroom. Another resident is waiting for breakfast. Your coworker needs help with a transfer. And the person standing in front of you still deserves your full attention. That's one of the hardest parts of facility caregiving. It isn't that you don't want to provide great care. Sometimes there are simply too many people who need you at the same time . At Summit Home Care, the pace is different. When you walk into a client's home, that's the person you're there to care for. Give One Person Your Attention Home care gives you the opportunity to slow down enough to focus on the individual. Learn how they like their morning routine. Help them shower without feeling rushed. Make breakfast the way they like it. Listen when they want to talk. Encourage them to do the things they can still safely do themselves. And finish the care you're providing without simultaneously being responsible for an entire hallway. That's what one-on-one caregiving can feel like. Why Consider Summit Home Care? $20.00-$22.00/hour based on experience. $32.00-$34.00 per bathing/shower visit. Part-Time and Per Diem opportunities. Weekend opportunities available. One-on-one client care. Traditional caregiving shifts and shorter visits. Build relationships with clients and families. Work independently in the community. Encourage independence whenever appropriate. Observe changes in condition and communicate concerns. Follow individualized care plans. Complete required documentation. Help clients remain safe and comfortable at home . Not Every Assignment Looks the Same Some clients need several hours of support. Others primarily need assistance with personal care. We also offer dedicated bathing and shower visits paying $32.00-$34.00 per visit . That means you may be able to combine traditional hourly assignments with shorter visits based on your availability and current client needs. Our scheduling team also works to cluster assignments geographically whenever possible to create more practical schedules. Bring Your Caregiving Experience We're especially interested in candidates with experience as: Home Health Aides (HHA). Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). Direct Support Professionals (DSP). Resident Assistants (RA). Nursing Assistants. Assisted Living Caregivers. Memory Care Caregivers. Home Care Professionals. We're looking for at least one year of caregiving experience supporting multiple clients . CNA certification is welcomed but not required. You'll also need: Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance. Ability to travel between client homes. Strong communication skills. Dependability and professionalism. Ability to work independently. You Didn't Get Into Caregiving to Feel Rushed. You got into it to help people. And sometimes the environment you're working in makes that harder than it should be. Home care gives you another option. One client. One set of needs. Your attention on the person in front of you. Then you finish your visit and move on to the next person who needs you. If you're an experienced caregiver looking for $20.00-$22.00/hour, $32.00-$34.00 bathing visits, flexible scheduling, and an opportunity to provide more focused one-on-one care , we'd love to hear from you.
