Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while documenting medical records thoroughly and accurately. Use safe handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to transfer patients safely, minimizing injury risk. Collaborate with nursing staff to observe changes in patient condition and communicate effectively about patient needs or concerns. Provide specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, developmental disabilities, or other health challenges. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities, and compromised memories. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Matrix Care for medical documentation-will train. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care. Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately . Strong caregiving communication skills to effectively support patients' emotional well-being and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
