As an Assisted Living Resident Aide at Fieldcrest Assisted Living in Cottonwood, MN, you'll make a real difference in someone's day just by being present, dependable, and kind. PT & FT What You'll Do:
Resident support — Help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and safe transfers (including Hoyer lifts). Health monitoring — Take and record vital signs, observe changes, and communicate concerns promptly. Medication reminders — Support residents with scheduled medication reminders under supervision. Engagement & activities — Build meaningful connections through conversation, recreation, and social activities. Household support — Keep resident rooms and shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Meal assistance — Help with meals, feeding support, and ensuring proper nutrition.
What We Are Looking For:
Caring individuals who show patience, kindness, and respect. Reliable attendance — We depend on you, and residents do too. Strong communicators who can work well with seniors and teammates. Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is helpful but not required. CPR/First Aid training provided, if needed. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, assist with resident transfers, and perform safe patient lifting practices
