The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do spirit to assist clients with daily living activities. You are responsible for ensuring their comfort and safety, while promoting their independence. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry to maintain a safe and healthy living environment. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring them as necessary. Monitor and document client health status, including any changes in condition or behavior. Assist with medical needs such as catheter care and administering prescribed medications under supervision. Maintain accurate medical documentation as required by healthcare protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Qualifications Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or memory care settings is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting clients and engaging in cleaning duties. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must have cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients as needed. Certification in CPR is preferred.
