Job Description

The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients through communication, clerical duties, and transcription of orders. The CNA reports directly to the Unit Department Director, Nursing Shift Supervisor or RN. The CNA has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, LRH employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The CNA must be able to secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, exercise initiative and judgement, and have above average communication skills. The CNA must be able to follow instructions of licensed personnel and work cooperatively with others. Hours/Shifts Casual (less than 32 hours biweekly) with requirement to pick up a minimum of one shift every 90 days.

Compensation Hourly Wage Range:
$18.48-$25.09. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations. To perform in this position satisfactory, a high school education or equivalent degree is preferred. Previous medical terminology/work desirable.
