Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time HHA/CNA to join our team! Within the structure of PSLO core values of Dignity, Integrity, Professionalism, Humor and Passion, this position is responsible for performing household and personal care services as necessary to maintain the comfort and cleanliness of our residents. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming. Follow EMAR and administer prescribed medications, monitor resident health by observing vital signs, recording medical documentation, and reporting changes to facility Nurse. Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members while maintaining confidentiality Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring proper infection control practices are followed. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal directions in English Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Clearance of Minnesota Department of Human Services Background study Possess and maintains good physical and mental health, including current TB testing policy Ability to lift, push and pull required (Usually about 50 pounds) Must be able to work a schedule that includes rotating holidays and work every other weekend. #
