Job Description
.Oak Terrace Senior Living of North Mankato is looking to welcome Part Time and Full time staff for the our day shift and our overnight shift. Responsibilities Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support residents in maintaining their dignity and independence while ensuring their safety and comfort. Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts and Easy Stands when necessary. Foster a positive and engaging environment for residents, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being. Qualifications Proven experience in long-term care and personal care home settings Strong skills in caregiving and assisting individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care Familiarity with EMR systems and behavior management techniques Ability to maintain resident's rights and provide compassionate support in various care environments Summary In the role of PCA/CNA, you will provide essential support in long-term and home care settings, ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents.
