RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support with ambulation, transfers, and mobility exercises Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse or care manager Provide companionship and emotional support Adhere to care plans and agency protocols Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a High School Diploma required Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver Experience in an Homecare preferred Ability to pass a background check with MN Department of Health and Human Services. Reliable transportation to and from work. Compassionate about the care and well-being of others. Ability to read, write, and speak the English language adequately to respond to individual's needs. Ability to see and hear to communicate effectively. Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds, which includes transferring individuals. Ability to respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures and guidelines. Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push and pull.
