As a certified nursing assistant, you'll be the main caregiver for our patients with varied levels of mobility who require help with daily living activities like going to the restroom, getting dressed, eating regular meals, and changing bedpans. You'll also need to accurately record patient vitals, monitor changes in behavior or symptoms, and answer call signals and bells to determine patient needs. Compensation:
$18.50 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:
Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed Keep each room up to high standards of sanitization by changing bedpans and sheets and performing regular room cleaning Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages Assist patients with regular exercise as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
Qualifications:
Experience administering a catheter and enema is preferred, but not required Candidates should have the physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables or wheelchairs and move medical equipment Previous experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred Knowledgeable in record keeping through a computerized database to maintain patient history Candidates must have already completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college About Company We are always looking for team members who connect with our mission of adding life to the years of our residents.
