If this sounds like you, we may have the job you're looking for! As the primary caregiver, you will assist patients with varied levels of mobility with getting dressed, going to the restroom, changing bedpans, eating daily meals, and other activities of daily living. You'll also record patient vitals and note any changes in behavior, complaints, and symptoms to the registered nurse. Compensation:
$18.50 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:
Work with patients on regular exercise as needed to maintain their mobility level and physical health Keep each room up to high standards of sanitization by changing bedpans and sheets and performing regular room cleaning Help patients with basic care including bathing, dressing, going to the restroom, eating, and taking proper medication dosages on a daily basis Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families Job seekers must possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as GED Needs strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables or wheelchairs and move medical equipment Proficient computer skills and experience using computer database to ensure patient history is accurately recorded Experience administering a catheter and enema is preferred, but not required About Company We are always looking for team members who connect with our mission of adding life to the years of our residents.
