Shift:
1045pm - 7am. 40 hours a week, every other weekend. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. The CNA will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a respectful and supportive environment. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using appropriate patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring proper documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Support patients with medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality. Maintain a safe environment by practicing manual handling safety protocols and adhering to infection control standards for infectious disease care. Demonstrate proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and patient records management while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification; CPR certification is essential. Familiarity with advanced patient transfer techniques utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information.
